Welcome back ! guys this is Nouman Jamil and today I’m with the topic on How to block Facebook®™ in all browsers as Google Chrome , Internet Explorer e.t.c but this method is for Windows™ only. Nowadays Facebook has become an addiction to children , student & matures too.you may find your 10 year old kid keep sitting on computer just for updating his games and other things. uploading pictures and statuses I know that’s so terrible when you get puzzled in a maze of facebook world trust me ( I have been there :/ ) this is really hard to quit facebook and people may find it impossible to leave facebook .but this tutorial is for educational purposes because knowledge is power so try it out on a friend’s computer and anybody you would like to for a moment of joy and now lets start on our Mission : Block Facebook . Follow these simple steps to block facebook or any other website in all browsers
How to block Facebook in all browsers
- Open Run by pressing [ Win + R ] key
- Enter the following address “ C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc “ ( without quotes and hit enter
- Open the file named “ hosts “ by double clicking on it
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost - After the above address in notepad add
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 m.facebook.com[ Replace the above link with websites you want to block ]
- Now save the file
- Restart your PC
If any error occurs like “ Access denied “ or “ Read only file “ Watch This video , it will take only 3-4 minutes and can guide you through the process ;
